Timothy H. Barnes graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1983 and New England School of Law in 1986. Attorney Barnes is a member of the Massachusetts, New York and United States federal courts. Attorney Barnes is an experienced civil trial attorney. He also is experienced in the areas of estate and Medicaid planning, and he has been a featured speaker in numerous legal seminars about estate and Medicaid planning. Since 1990, Attorney Barnes has taught business law at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA.

Attorney Barnes is on the board of directors of the Haverhill Credit Union, and he is a founder of the Haverhill, MA chapter of Christmas in April and a member of its board of directors. He also is a past president of the Boston Baptist Union.

Honig & Barnes, LLC also is a member of the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.
